FLYING REGULATIONS
FLYING REGULATIONS
The drone must stay within visual line of sight, this is essential to keep the equipment and our clients safe.
There are no specific distances from vehicles, vessels or structures necessary. However, prescribed distances from uninvolved persons still applies, this distance is 50m, reducing to 30m or 5m with the new CE grade drones.
We fly at or below 400ft. and always within visual line of sight.
400ft can be exceeded when over flying a fixed obstacle provided that:
– The person in charge of the obstacle has granted permission
– Drone not to be flown more than 15m above the object and kept within 50m horizontally from it
A2 Certificate of Competency (A2 CoC) holders able to operate in areas of commercial, residential, recreational and industrial use with a drone less than 4kg to a minimum of 50m from uninvolved people – this can be less but is drone category dependent.
At All Drone, our client’s safety is paramount. There is no risk of harm from our drones, and we never fly in unsafe conditions.
Weather
For the best results we recommend flying in wind under 15mph, however our drones are capable of wind speeds up to 22mph. We may occasionally need to rearrange our scheduled flights due to high winds, but we endeavour to work with our clients throughout the process.

Yes, we love to fly at night. We get some great footage when flying at night time. A daytime visit to the area is preferable by the pilot prior to the night flight.
